A fine red with traces of purple, its nose recalls blueberry jam, quince and figs, with an endnote that is reminiscent of light spices and cocoa. This wine presents itself to the palate as full, warm, harmonious, and complex, achieving an unusual balance, powerful yet pleasing, with a finish that contains a trace of sweet, despite the fact this is a dry wine. Ideal serving temperature is 18° (65°F), when it will regale you with delights, especially when savored on its own after dark. At the table, this wine provides a perfect complement to red meats, and traditional Italian dishes that boast complex aromatic flavors; also good with seasoned cheese.
